This Privacy Policy explains how Solwayt, operated by Niabyte ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use our services.

By using Solwayt, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of Solwayt, including individual and business users, and covers personal data processed in connection with the use of our website, applications, and related services.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect only data that is necessary to provide and operate the Service.

2.1 Account and Identification Data

  • Email address
  • Password hash (never the raw password)
  • Display name or username

2.2 Payment-Related Data

  • Payment tokens or identifiers provided by payment processors
  • We do not store raw card numbers
  • In limited cases, anonymized or hashed payment identifiers may be used to prevent abuse (e.g., free trials)

2.3 User Content

  • Video files (stored temporarily, up to 30 days by default, depending on selected mode)
  • Images (stored until the related chat is deleted)
  • Text messages and chat content (stored in encrypted form)

All user content may be deleted by deleting the associated chat or account.

2.4 Technical and Usage Data

  • IP address
  • Timestamps and session identifiers
  • Basic device and system information
  • User-agent data (where available)

Such data is used strictly for service operation, security, and abuse prevention.

2.5 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and session identifiers to ensure proper functionality, security, and authentication.

2.6 Support Communications

  • Emails and messages sent to our support team
  • Attachments, media, and links shared during support interactions
  • Limited technical logs related to support requests

3. Google Account Data (OAuth)

When you sign in to Solwayt using your Google account, we access certain information made available through Google's OAuth 2.0 service, subject to the permissions you grant.

Data we may access via Google OAuth:

  • Your Google account email address
  • Your Google display name and profile picture (if provided)
  • A unique Google user identifier used solely to link your Google account to your Solwayt account

How we use Google account data:

  • Solely to authenticate you and create or link your Solwayt account
  • To identify you across sessions within the Service
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the Solwayt service

Limits on use of Google user data:

  • We do not sell, rent, or transfer Google user data to any third party
  • We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, interest-based advertising, data brokering, determining creditworthiness, or AI model training
  • We do not create user profiles from Google data for purposes beyond operating the Service
  • Access to Google user data is limited to the minimum necessary to authenticate users and provide the requested features
  • Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements

3.1 Google Drive Data Usage

When using the feature to import files from Google Drive, Solwayt requests access (scope drive.file) exclusively to the files you explicitly choose to process within our Service.

Purpose: We access these files solely to import them into Solwayt for further analysis, processing, or to provide the Service's functionality.

Limitations: We do not have access to any other files on your Google Drive, nor do we modify or delete the original files on your Drive. Files downloaded for processing are temporarily stored on our servers in accordance with Section 2.3 of this Policy.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on the following legal grounds, where applicable:

  • Performance of a contract – to create accounts, provide services, and process user requests
  • Legitimate interests – ensuring security, stability, and preventing abuse
  • Legal obligations – compliance with applicable laws and lawful requests
  • User consent – for optional features, specific processing activities, or future service improvements
  • Service communications – to contact users regarding service-related matters (not marketing without consent)

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary.

5.1 Account Data

Stored while the account is active.
Upon account deletion, data is deleted or anonymized without undue delay, subject to legal retention requirements.

5.2 User Content

  • Videos: stored up to 30 days by default, unless deleted earlier or processed in modes that do not retain content
  • Images and chat texts: stored until the related chat is deleted

5.3 Technical Data

Stored only while required to provide the Service and automatically deleted when no longer necessary.

5.4 Support Data

Retained only as long as needed to resolve requests or comply with applicable obligations.

5.5 Google OAuth Data

Data obtained via Google OAuth (email, display name, Google user identifier) is retained only while your account is active. Upon account deletion, this data is deleted or anonymized without undue delay.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data.

Regarding Google user data specifically: data obtained via Google OAuth is never sold, shared with, or processed by third parties for advertising, analytics, data brokering, or any purpose other than authenticating you and providing the Solwayt service.

We may share or disclose data only in the following cases:

  • Service providers and processors (e.g., infrastructure, AI processing) acting under our instructions and bound by confidentiality obligations
  • Payment processors, solely to complete transactions
  • Support and communication providers, when required to respond to user requests
  • Legal requirements, where disclosure is required by applicable law or a lawful authority order

Where possible, shared data is limited to the minimum necessary. We do not share data with partners for analytical, advertising, or reselling purposes.

7. User Rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have the right to:

  • Access their personal data
  • Correct or update inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict certain processing activities
  • Request a copy of basic personal data
  • Withdraw consent for optional processing activities

We may require verification of identity before fulfilling requests.

8. International Data Transfers

Solwayt operates globally, and personal data may be processed or stored in multiple countries.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

  • Data may be transferred to jurisdictions different from your country of residence
  • AI processing may occur in third countries
  • We apply reasonable safeguards to protect data during international transfers

If the law of your country restricts such transfers, we may:

  • limit certain features, or
  • decline to provide the Service where compliance is not possible

9. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS
  • Encrypted storage of sensitive content and credentials
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
  • Regular review of our security practices and systems

However, no system can guarantee absolute security. We encourage users to use strong, unique passwords and to contact us immediately at support@solwayt.com if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Material changes will be communicated through the Service or other reasonable means.
Users will be notified of significant changes affecting how Google user data is used.

Continued use of Solwayt after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
